Position Description

Under managerial direction, the Accounting Coordinator will support the basic accounting and financial reporting functions of the credit union finance department. This role will coordinate, reconcile and prepare financial reporting including monthly financial reporting, adjusting entries, reconciliations and coordination of fixed assets. The Accounting Coordinator will show aptitude as a trusted advisor by sharing information and providing administrative support to all functions of the Finance department and ensure all activities are in compliance with accounting and reporting standards and regulations, policy and procedures.

  • Organize and prepare monthly financial reporting
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts
  • Assist in conducting operational reviews and audits
  • Provide oversight of internal revenue and expense accounts

Qualifications Required

  • 1-3 years' accounting experience
  • Understanding of basic financial statements
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong business writing and analysis skills
