We think it's really important to give where you live and that's why we reward and acknowledge employees, every year, who dedicates a significant amount of time to volunteering within our communities. Nicole was the recipient of the 2025 Spirit Award for Corporate Volunteerism in recognition of her contribution at LCU events and Scott Topylki was awarded 2025 Community Spirit Award for his community involvement coaching basketball at BCHS.

A big part of creating a great work and team culture comes from employees that volunteer their time and ideas to make the workplace a fun and inclusive space for everyone! We choose one employee each year that dedicates a significant amount of time to volunteering within LCU for internal events and they receive two extra paid days of vacation time! Kimberley is active volunteering with the Pierceland Recreation Association and as well volunteering with LCU events.

This is presented to an outstanding employee chosen annually by the Board of Directors. The recipient receives $1,000 cash.
